Two route distances will be available this year, a 90-mile course and a 55-mile course. Both routes offer spectacular views, peaceful twisting roads, and an abundance of climbing. You will be enjoying every minute of the ride as you experience the Tour de France Legend and imagine yourself climbing through the Alps as the pros do in July. Pacing and nutrition are essential to staying fresh over the rolling terrain between the key climbs – if planned correctly you can arrive to the bottom of the final climb with enough energy to put out a good effort to the ski lifts!
Our 90 mile route takes riders on the classic challenging Mt.Baldy course that was featured during the inaugural L’Etape California by Tour de France in 2017. Equally as picturesque and following much of the 90 mile route, the 55 mile route is a great option for those looking to build up to the full 90 miles!

Riders should depart the final full rest stop on Glendora Ridge Road (Rest Stop #5, Mile 67.8 long course, Mile 33.0 short course) by 4:00 PM (9 mph average speed including stops) to begin the final ascent up Mt. Baldy Road. Riders that are not able to meet this time requirement should select the shorter 55-mile course for the day or they will be required to skip the final climb section by making a right turn on Mt. Baldy Road to descend back to the Start/Finish. We want to allow ample time for riders to finish with enough daylight and time to enjoy their post-ride meal.
Rest Stops will be dispersed approximately every 1-2 hours along the ride to keep you fueled and hydrated for the day. You can expect Science in Sport energy gels, bars, fruit, healthy snacks, water, and electrolyte mix.
Free mechanical assistance will be available at the Expo/Start, roaming on the course via SRAM vehicles, and at rest stops. We strive to provide you with the professional experience and support you deserve to keep you rolling towards the finish.
