King and Queen of the Mountain prizes will be awarded to the top 3 men and women in each age group. The overall fastest male and female will be awarded a trip to the 2019 Etape du Tour in France.

Times will be calculated based on the cumulative times for the first two KOM’s.

  • KOM 1: 3.5 miles, 5% average gradient, 960 ft gain
  • KOM 2: 3 miles, 5% average gradient, 850 ft gain

Age Group Categories:

  • Male 29 & under; Female 29 & under
  • Male 30 - 39; Female 30 - 39
  • Male 40 - 49; Female 40 - 49
  • Male 50 - 59; Female 50 - 59
  • Male 60+; Female 60+

A separate prize will be awarded for the overall fastest male and female on the shorter, but very steep Classic Challenge KOM.

  • 0.30 miles, 12% average gradient
